Suffering and the Kingdom - Week 4

Pain and suffering is the fruit of the fall. Because of sin, affliction great and small is the inevitable reality of human existence. The good news, however, is that God's redemption in Christ is not the evasion but the redemption of our pain and suffering. By the Spirit, affliction is how the Lord accomplishes the renewal of creation and builds His kingdom in and through us. In this class, we will, therefore, learn the ways in which we can prepare for, find hope in, and minister effectively to those who find themselves in the midst of pain and suffering.
