Out of the Abundance of the Heart (Luke 6:45)

Luke 6:45 says "Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." This means that when you say something sinful and follow up with "I didn't mean that," you are deceiving yourselves. Whatever is in your heart is in your mouth. This especially applies to family life. Whoever you are around them is who you really are. So ask the Lord to give you a clean heart.
