July Sunday School at TRC

Sunday School will occur each Sunday in July, beginning at 9:15am. There will be a nursery for babies up to 2 years old and classes for 2 year olds through 6th graders. Teens and adults can choose to attend one of the two adult classes below:

In the Sanctuary – TRC 101
TRC 101 is our membership class, led by a team of pastors and elders. It’s designed for both new visitors and those considering membership at TRC. If you’ve never attended, we encourage you to attend and learn more about who we are and what we believe. This class reviews the history and distinctives of TRC, denominationalism, Presbyterianism, church membership, TRC doctrinal overview, the TRC constitution, and more.

In the Chapel – Digital Parenting
Raising children in the digital age presents challenges and opportunities. This class is designed to equip parents with spiritual guidance and practical tools for navigating screen time, social media, and digital discipleship. We’ll explore how to faithfully raise kids who learn to operate with wisdom in a tech-saturated world, without letting devices take over the home.

Potluck Fellowship

Our next potluck fellowship will be held on Sunday, June 8th, following the worship service. The gym is available for the Bailey, Whitesburg, Chapman and Harvest parishes. To ensure there is plenty of food, please fill out the food sign-up form that is sent out via email.

Wear Red on Pentecost Sunday with Church Picture Following the Service

In Christian tradition, red symbolizes the color of fire and serves as a visual representation of the Holy Spirit’s presence in His church. In the CREC, many churches share in the tradition of displaying red and often use this as an opportunity to take an annual picture of the congregation. This is a tradition we would like to begin at TRC - however, do not feel pressured to go out and buy a new red shirt or dress. There is no obligation to dress in red for Pentecost Sunday, June 8, but we do hope you will be present for the church wide photo!

Trail Life and American Heritage Girls

Outdoor character and leadership programs for boys and girls ages 5-17 meet at Mayfair Church of Christ on Mondays from 6:30- 8p.m. starting in the fall. For more information, contact Jeremy Brown at 256-529-9073.
